We are a reputable beauty salon and brow bar with two locations in Calgary. At Lavoom Salon, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional beauty services and creating unforgettable experiences for our clients. We are currently seeking talented and enthusiastic Estheticians to join our team at both our Chinook and Marda Loop locations.

 

Job Description and Requirements:

• Performing a wide range of esthetic services including waxing, facials, threading, brow and lash tinting, lash lift, and henna.

• Ensuring punctuality by closely monitoring appointment schedules and adhering to designated time slots.

• Greeting clients warmly and providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, escorting them to and from treatment rooms, and expressing sincere gratitude upon their departure.

• Conducting interviews with clients to gather information about contraindications and assessing skin conditions to determine the suitability of treatments.

• Offering professional advice to clients regarding skincare and recommending appropriate treatments and homecare regimens.

• Engaging in conversation with clients during sessions, showing genuine interest in their preferences and interests.

• Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the spa and salon services, as well as retail products, to effectively promote and sell them.

• Following esthetics policies and guidelines concerning chemical usage, equipment cleaning, sanitization, and maintenance.

• Ensuring proper care of linens, replacing them between sessions to maintain cleanliness and client comfort.

• Reporting any incidents of inappropriate guest behavior to the supervisor promptly and discontinuing treatment when necessary.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

• Certified Esthetician with a recognized diploma or certification in Esthetics.

• Proven experience in providing a range of esthetic services, including facials, hair removal, and makeup application.

• In-depth knowledge of esthetic products, techniques, and industry trends.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients and provide personalized consultations.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and welcoming salon environment.

• Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and evenings as per salon hours and client demands.

• Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations in the esthetics field.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 32 per week

 

Salary: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
